Find Your Waterkeeper

Your Waterkeepers are community-based advocates united for clean, healthy, and abundant water for all people. Get connected to the Waterkeeper who protects the water where you live, work, and play:

The Carolinas’ Watersheds Map

We aren’t just focused solely on large bodies of water. Your Waterkeepers are monitoring their entire watershed — the entire land area that drains water into a body of water, like a lake, river, wetland, or groundwater.

Your Waterkeepers

Your Waterkeepers work tirelessly to patrol local waters, identify and investigate pollution, monitor water quality, work collaboratively to address the problems, and advocate for compliance with clean water laws.
