Water Warriors

We are warriors for water. As a collective of 9 nonprofit organizations across North Carolina and into Virginia and South Carolina, Waterkeepers Carolina is the protector of our waterways. You can join us.

From factory farm pollution to coal ash, from heavy development to industrial chemicals, our waters are under threat, meaning our state’s drinking water, recreational resources and environmental wonders could be permanently damaged, affecting all who call this state home. That’s why Waterkeepers Carolina is fighting in our present - to save our future. Through hands-on cleanups, awareness campaigns, outreach to legislators and educational events, our member organizations seek to advocate for and protect our waters. You can help.
